VELUX Rigid & Flexible Sun Tunnels

The Velux Sun Tunnels are designed to deliver maximum sunlight in any room with minimal cost.

Spaces within your homes such as hallways, walk-in robes, toilets, pantries, and other small areas, can be extremely hard to get enough lighting. Instead of raking up the electricity bill leaving the lights on all day, how about installing  a beautiful, sleek and affordable sun tunnel.

Velux sun tunnels are designed to give your home extensive natural daylight in while using very little ceiling space. With their two types of designs, no matter what your roof trusses are and how they're standing, we can always install a sun tunnel to your home!

The rigid model is considered more your typical sun tunnel, but with the most advanced design on the market. Using 'Flexi Loc' tunnel systems, including two elbow sections, each kit can make a standard tunnel length of 1.65 metres, which can be cut shorter if required. 1.24m Extensions can also be purchased, just speak to our friendly customer service team for details.

Unfortunately not everyone's roof trusses are exactly where they are needed for the sun tunnel installation. That's where the flexible varieties come in. This model utilises a collapsible, and durable reflective material. It's pulled up and around where it's needed, allowing the internal opening to be placed indirectly below the external glass.

Product Features:

  • Bushfire rating of BAL 29 (applicable to TWR installed between 18-60°)
  • Choice of highly reflective rigid or flexible tunnel (350mm diameter, lengths vary)
  • 4mm Toughened glass
  • Dual-layered ceiling diffuser - spreads light over an area of up to 9m²
  • CodeMark certified 30091
  • Interior diffuser with 'EdgeGlow' design
  • Outer polyurethane capping with integrated flashing for tiled/corrugated iron roofs
  • 'Stay Clean' NEAT coating on glass exterior to reduce cleaning frequency

If you'd like to enquire about installation in the South East Queensland or Northern NSW area, contact Eco Sustainable House either by phone, email, or simply filling out the form here.
