The Velux Fixed Skylight is a best seller with its affordable cost, and simple design and versatile installation application. The skylight comes in 12 different sizes, all with Velux's patented double-glazed laminated glass. They are the perfect option for replacing fallible plastic domes on flat or low pitch roofs with a much more effective and durable skylight.

Description

Our Aussie sun is extremely harsh, with one skylight sitting in the sun for 12 hours a day, you would expect sun damage. However, thanks to their precision engineering, durable materials and extensive bushfire and hailstone testing, you can expect this skylight to last for years to come.

Fixed skylight can be used as one skylight to create more natural light in its given space. Alternatively, multiple skylights can be fitted together to create a unique design to your home. New sizes even bigger than the 870x1505mm soon available in September 2023!

• Double-glazed glass will not fade or discolour over time; unlike acrylic or poly-carbonate.
• Available in 11 sizes
• Maintenance-free anodized heavy-gauge aluminium frame withstands the extremes of the Australian climate.
• Suitable for roofs between 0-60° in pitch
• Can be used in portrait, landscape or even “diamond shape” orientation (excluding 2270 size)
• High performance double glazing as standard – blocks approx 70% of radiant heat and gives 99% protection from UV rays
• Requires custom-made flashing and frame (not supplied).

All Velux skylight and roof window can be installed during the building process, renovation process, on both tiled or metal roofs. Comes with the aluminium frame and glass skylight itself only, installer will need to create custom flashing and a timber box frame.
