The Atlantis Gravel Cell is the perfect erosion control system. These modular recycled plastic products are made of recycled materials and have a heavy load rating of 140 tonnes per square metre (unfilled); and thousands of tonnes once properly installed and filled.
Description
While its primary purpose is erosion control; Atlantis Gravel Cell can be used to ensure neat and mud free pathways, more permanent construction of gravel driveways, grass erosion control, stormwater management and many other water management or surface reinforcement applications.
*Please note this is the same product as the same product as the Atlantis Gravel Cell, Turf Cell and Drainage Cell (Different use cases explained in seperate products to avoid confusion) but is only a single modular piece as apposed to a 1m2 (3 pieces per 1m2)
Erosion Control Matting
The 50mm depth design has been incrementally improved since the first iteration from Landscape Architect, Humberto Urriola in 1986. This includes better quality recycled plastic that does not fade and weaken over time.
The design has been perfected to reduce erosion in driveways, roads and other sloping areas. This helps avoid expensive operations like having to install bitumen or to have a road grader contracted regularly. Sustainability
With around 80% of building construction made from impermeable materials such as concrete and asphalt, Atlantis Gravel Cell provides a sustainable alternative (85% recycled polypropylene) that allows the natural infiltration of storm water.
