Components Of The Best Outdoor Showers
Where does the water come into the shower? From near your feet (floor mount), your waist waist (wall mount) or head level (head mount)?
This has the most impact on your shower look. A large rounded gooseneck is a 70's Californian style, a rounded style is straight forward and minimalist, whereas the square has the steampunk vibe.
Copper or Brass heads are the most popular materials but you also will need to choose between medium and large size. 200mm is a medium size and 250mm are large.
Will you just be using a cold water feed (Single Tap) or do you have both hot and cold (Dual Taps)?
The 4 Step Process To Choose The Right Outdoor Shower
Run through these 4 steps before comparing products to know what you are looking for.
1. Choose Your Mounting
If the water is coming from a head feed then you only have 2 showers to choose from. The Billinga or The Duranbah showers. All other showers are either wall or ground feed.
2. Choose your Shower Arm Style
The Burleigh Shower and the Kirra Shower have all 3 styles of shower arm. Gooseneck, Rounded & Square. The Miami Shower only has a Gooseneck style.
3. Brass Or Copper Shower Rose?
The Burleigh outdoor shower and the Bilinga showers have copper shower heads. The Kirra, Miami and Duranbah showers have brass shower roses. The Just Add Pipe shower kit has both options.
4. Single or Dual Taps?
If you have a head feed shower then this doesn't matter. Your plumbing is already installed, most likely behind a wall. The Burleigh, Kirra and Just Add Pipe Kit all have single and double tap options.

Outdoor showers are typically freestanding from a bracket on the floor or they are attached to the wall. When the water is fed into the shower from the floor this is "ground fed" and when the water comes into the outdoor shower from the wall at waist height, where the taps are, this is "wall fed", finally when the water comes in at head height this is a head feed shower.
