Rainwater Harvesting is the process of collecting, storing, and distributing rainwater from the roof for use in and around the home or office. The subsurface location and the high comprehensive strength on the Matrix ® Tank provides greater usable ground area and enhanced aesthetic setting compared to traditional above ground tanks. The lightweight, modular design of the Matrix® Tank system makes installation quicker, safer, easier and cheaper than below ground round or oval concrete or plastic tanks.
Additional products that are used to complete the Rainwater Harvesting Tank are the pump, geofabric, polyliner, and the filtration system.
Filtration unit is used to stop any leaves, debree, or any foreign substances that shouldn't be in your water tank.
Polyliner is used to detain the rainwater within the flo tank itself.
Geotextile fabric is used to stop any sand or soil dropping into the tank. It is also used to create a cushion around the plastic matrix tank to protect the thin plastic polyliner.
The pump is used to pump the grey water out of your rainwater tank. This water can be used for watering gardens, washing cars, or can be put through a sterilizer process to be come more useful in your backyard pool showers etc.
Rainwater Harvesting Aerobic Infiltration System Capillary action of sand surrounding tank assists in aeration of stored water.
